I just bought 1.18 gallons for $3 (2.60) up the street before I went downtown this evening, I'm paranoid how much is left in there, I have over 400 miles on my current tank and the sender doesn't work below the half point. the gallon is to tide me over till tomorrow or tuesday when I go load up on B20 again, which is cheaper by about 7-8 cents around here.... 2.53ish

$2.65 tonight at a local pump that I've never visited before. Not going back there again for awhile. The most it usually costs at my regular place is $2.39.

On the hunt for the cheapest diesel in frederick...

Diesel can be a good 4 - 6 cents cheaper than regular on the NH coast. It is NEVER higher than premium. For that matter, it is never even close in price.

2.539 at the local Mobil. 2.899 for premium at the Portsomouth Exxon on Rt. 1.

Must be something about the coastal area . . . diesel along the Connecticut River Valley, or at least Claremont, Walpole, Lebanon NH and Springfield VT the diesel has been higher than premium gasolene for months. We just saw premium gas go higher than diesel. This does not mean the price of diesel dropped . . . gas prices just beat the diesel price to the punch and traded places for awhile.

Right. The gas prices started creeping up, while diesel remained relatively fixed in pricing. Not too long ago I was having trouble finding diesel cheaper than premium gas. Now I don't have to look so far. I can't IMAGINE filling a 560SEL every few days, at least, for $70.00 a tank. WHOA!

Since the population is greater, I'd assume the fuel is more rapidly refreshed. Thus, inlanders will eventually see the same effect as tanks become replenished with new stock.
