How big a problem is a prechamber leak?

I noticed yesterday that there are small, bubbling leaks around the base of two of my injectors. The bubbles were popping up at the outside threads of what looks like an insert that the injector threads into. (Is that the collar?) The injectors themselves appear dry, so I do not think it is a leak in the return lines. I harvested a photo from an existing thread and put in an arrow to show the origin of the leak.

A search for "prechamber leak" shows lots of threads on this problem, removal of the collar and the prechamber, etc. But I got little indication on how severe a problem this is. Since my engine currently runs fine, can I just ignore this for now or is it a problem that is going to worsen or become harder to eventually fix?

My 240 does the same. May make it knock a little more than usual. Just pull the injectors and replace the "seats"

Hey,
I had the same exact problem. I took the injector out. Took it apart and cleaned it real good and put it back in.
Also remember to replace the brass heat shield too.
Find out how much torque the injectors take, it's not that much but I can't remember right now.
After putting it back in the leak stopped. Also if they are the original injectors don't buy a replacement. You'll wind up with an inferior "Made in India" injector.

Edit: Sorry I just remembered my injector was leaking from the middle where it screws together. You may want to double check that. Remove the rubber boot if you have one and take a good look.

I'm interested to know the answer to this question too. Any body know if it is harmful?

I had one doing that. I used a punch on the slotted nut that holds the pre-chamber in, 2 good whacks to snug it down and no more leak.

I know, I should have pulled the pre-chamber, cleaned, inspected and re-seated to proper factory specs. That will have to wait until all the other issues with it have been worked out.
