Free CV shaft to anyone who wants it. The kicker is I need a core to put in the box and return. I removed a perfectly good shaft to replace with new pair (see my other post). The good shaft can be yours if you just ship your bad one to me and cover the return shipping cost. I must have your core to get my core money back. I will be out of town on Mon and Tues back on Wed. I need to replace mine, but I have a few questions.

1. Are you sure that your old one is good?
2. Do you have a time limit to return the core, i.e. can you send me yours first so that my car does not stay shaft-less for a week?
3. Do you have a rough idea of shipping costs to/from Los Angeles?

The shaft was good, no noise, no leaks, nice and tight. I just replaced them both with another style of shaft. I wasn't charged for the core as I know the parts guy so I don't really have a time limit. Although I have to make sure I do return the core at some point to make sure if I have trouble in future that he helps me out. The core charge was supposed to be $60. I figure that shipping should be $15-$20. If you want you can send me a money order for $60+shipping(I'll get an exact figure) and I will send you the shaft. When I get the core shaft back I will send you the $60 or I will have to pay the parts guy. So for $30-$40 in shipping charges you will get a good used shaft. Your call. I will be out of town from 3/3-3/12 so it would have to wait until after that. I suppose you could Paypal me the funds and I should be able to ship before I leave. I would wrap the shaft in bubblewrap and double box it for you. Let me know, RT
