Finally stepped into the diesel world!!

After 6 months searching for the car that find my needs and price range I have made the dive into the MB diesel world. On friday I bought a 82 300TD. I am glad to be part of the community now. The wagon has 143k on it. The body is in great shape. A few stratches and dings but pretty minimal. Very little rust. Interior is great, cracked dash though. Motor is great. Drove the car nearly 300 miles the first day I owned it. A good test drive I'd say. I will be putting my first tank of biodiesel into her pretty soon, and hopefully I will get the time and money to convert to veggie oil. Free fuel is good fuel. Happy dieseling!!

Andrew

Welcome to the forum.
I hope that your car will give you good reliable service and a long life, with minimal service cost.
We are happy with our 300Ds we have owned for ~1 year.
Apart from one steering lock and one lower ball joint, only regular maintenance has been needed.
