Engine Quiet

For all you diesel lovers.

i had to get use to the diesel sound. I LOVE MY DIESEL but i found a product that really made my engine quiet. it's called "ENGINE QUIET". so far my car sounds totally different. i'm not sure if it's recomended by MB but it works. and it cuts down on smoke.

Sounds like snake oil, the old STP, Bardall all "made" your engine sound quieter. This is like putting a bandaid on a bullet wound, it ain't gone a fix internal problems....

nooooo it's not to fix anything. just to queit the diesel. and i have a BIG 1986 300SDL. it's an 80% difference in the diesel sound.

i'm not sure. but if you go to your local AutoZone they have it. it should be in the section with Fuel additives and things like that. anyway, it's called "ENGINE QUIET".

This is a joke right?

What do you put it in oil or fuel? If it is a fuel additive and it made that much of a difference you have bigger problems. Get your injectors tested.

I drive 35 miles each way to work. I guess "local" is a relative term.

At any rate, back to this "engine quiet" stuff. Biodiesel or even plain old corn oil will do the same thing. But a couple quarts and dump them in your tank when the weather gets warmer. You'll see.
