Currently I am looking at a 1993 300SD. The car is beautiful, very big, great luxury, and feels like a ship on the road. The guy wants 21,500 with registration and everything included. The car is in mint,mint mint shape. the car is a turbo diesel and I like it. however I heard that the model was recalled for some engine trouble? I don't know please tell me about htis car. It has 111,000, however it is mint. Well any and all info would be appreciated.

I am pretty sure that the engine called in for big trouble was the 350SD, and that the 300 is fine. Call MBUSA (go to http://www.mbusa.com for the phone number and get them to fax you the recall or update sheet for this model. Also, try and speak with the mechanic who has looked after this car and see what they say.

Even though MB called this car a 300SD it has the 3.5l engine. Just search for OM603, or bent rods.
