Michigan / Detroit area meetup

Calling all Michigan Mercedes owners! Please sign-up for the Michigan-Detroit Metro Mercedes-Benz meetup group. Every month we have a “meeting”, generally just dinner at a restaurant to just talk and hangout with fellow owners and enthusiasts. We just had our first meet today and it was a blast! There is a link to the site below in my signature. We look forward to seeing you next month.

Thumbs up It was fun

food and MB talk.
Passed on tips for a couple of local cheap 240D's, an SEL and a W124 190E.
Diesel talk, SVO and WVO through the meal was great.
See you next month.

Wish I could have made it.

I had a few things on the docket today. I just joined the other day. Looks like fun.

As a side note I booted up the svo tank again today drove on grease for a short while then the engine lost power and almost stalled.... Turns out if you can run a diesel on many things, but you can't run it on engine coolant.

I took apart the tank in the dark tonight and found the connectors for the heater were leaking into the tank.
I'm going to have to rebuild that too.

Wish I could have made it out there.

I didn't know about yesterdays GTG...could have been there since all I did was laze about. Next one I'll be in CA though. We are fast approaching that time of year when I start bouncing about the country, El Paso in a week and a half, California for two weeks soon after, possibly Austin in May or June and way too many more to remember right now. I've save your site so I'll be able to keep tabs and try to work my schedule with it.
