Lost Brakes

I discovered that the brake pedal goes to the floor this morning. When I moved the car, I noticed that my driveway has some spill spots roughly where the driver's side front wheel was located. I refilled the brake with fluid and it took about 2/3 of the bottle. Pedal still goes to the floor. For the last several days, the ABS light has been on constantly but the brakes seemed to be normal with one exception: I felt something very much like the ABS shudder during very slow stops.

Does it sound like a master cylinder? The calipers were replaced with new (rebuilt ones) about 4 months ago.

Hmmm

Flex line and/or caliper blown out. :(
Air in the system + possible failing master cylinder. :(
Take your time, this DIY can kill you if there is an oops. :(

I once replaced a master, and drove off without checking the pedal action carefully. Had zero brakes till I pumped it several times; as I barreled into traffic. Went for the sidewalk, talk about lucky I didn't get creamed.
Check everything out in triplicate b4 you drive it when cracking brake lines...!

Lost Brakes now found

It was the hose on the driver's side front wheel brake line that leaked out most of the fluid. The mechanic said that he thought that tire actually rubbed on it which makes me wonder about the guy who put on the calipers back in November.

A little piece of advice here. I would go ahead and change the rest of the brake lines. My front passenger side line broke, I ordered a new one, drove it 3 days and the rear passenger side on broke. I made it over a year till 2 weeks ago when another one broke but I just parked it and havent checked to see which one, but, i assure you, i will order both driver sides lines and never have this problem again. The car will actually still stop but you have to press the pedal all the way to the floor. You better watch what you are doing.
