vacuum Dashpot & Wiper Motor
Can anyone tell me where to locate the vacuum dashpot on my 1996 E300D? It's a green cylindrical thingy. Also, is there a way to lubricate the wiper motor? It's really slow until after it gets going. I did a search, but didn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try wwwautoluxmbz.com. Phone 1-949-574-0054. They make pot repair kits.
I doubt that your slow wiper motor is caused by lack of lube but if it is you will have to pull the motor apart to get to the bushings. They are probably graphite impregnated bronze and shouldn't require any lube. If the motor gets up to speed when you drive faster it is probably an electrical problem. |

Could be the linkage is gummed up rather than the motor. Guess you could try and spray some lubricant up from under dash but chances are it will make nice mess if you are not real careful.
