Stay away from interior plastic trim on 25 degree days..

Stay away from interior plastic trim on 25 degree days..I know from personal experience that when you get bundled up in the real cold days and excited and concentrating intently and the adrenaline hits, you will think its 75 degrees outside..but please remember that plastic doesn't feel that way..it snaps and shatters.
On some cars, kick panels and similar trim can really cost a lot to replace!
Usually I collect the pieces and PVC glue it back together, sand it and paint it and lay a sandwich of fiberglass resin on the back to strengthen it...

Likewise when you get all fired up, your fingers are still quite brittle. You dont feel cuts or bruises in the cold until you come in and the pain really hits...
Anyway, in one month I can laugh at this post...

I have given up working on my car when it is lower then 40 out. Things break not to mention I freeze. If I need to do something I pull it into the garage and fire off the kerosene heater. Once the air temp is up to 70 or so it isn't so bad but the floor is still cold.

Thats exactly what I do, except my tools are still frozen and have a layer of condonstaion on them. I usually put them on top of the kerosene heater for a few minutes and they get pretty toasty.

Below 35F you risk damage to plastic pins, tabs and panels.
