1981 300SD Have a new transmission coming (new to me anyway) and I'm wondering what I should do to it before putting it in. I'm planning on doing the B2 and K1 upgrades, but what about the front seal? Anything else I should do while it's out of the car? I'm only giving a couple hundred bucks for it, and it has less than 100k miles, so a complete overhaul is not cost effective. Maybe eventually I'll have my original overhauled..

Well, I've done the obligatory searches, but thanks for the suggestion. There isn't a whole lot I don't know about my car, but I posted this in case there was a transmission expert who knows more than me (and you, obviously) that might offer some added insight. I don't want to R&R the transmission and discover something I should have done while it was out....
