instrument cluster/dash

I'v found that by removing the drivers side dash speaker [W123] you can reach in and pop the dash/cluster forward

forgot to include,I modified a mini screw driver to be about 2 inches long for those speaker screws, but the job seemed more simple than some of the upsidedown under dash experiences I have had.

I don't think so. Having to stoop under there and stick your arm up is worse.

I just replaced the stock speakers with MB Quart speakers.....and dropped the speaker wire when I unplgged it..that was a major pain...I'm not exactly in the best of shape but I can have that bottom cover out in far less time than the speaker cover and the speaker both.
