Auxilliary Diesel fuel tank

I have and would like to sell a fuel tank that was professionally fabricated for a 76 240D. It fits perfectly in the trunk and probably would fit in a later 240 or 300. It is stainless and has fittings. What is it worth? Is anyone interested? I'm sure it would help WVO enthusiasts and I need to get it out of my sister's barn. Thanks in advance

you could post a pic. maybe that would generate some interest. i know of one member that has carried extra fuel tanks upto 15 gallons in order to take advantage of cheaper prices on long road trips.
1 once had a vw rabbit diesel with a dealer installed extra tank that fit in the spare wheel well. it gave the car a 1000 mile range, so it certainly can be an advantage.

Always nice to have a spare tank, I have a 13 gal tempo (mainly for veg oil) that cost $40.
I am interested if the price is right.

If you put your local in the preferences, it helps to tell at a glance...

I have one that is in my '77--240D(located in the trunk)--it has a 37 Gal.Capacity. Is this the same capacity as yours? Often wondered what they are worth.
