The other not-so-common use for pool noodles is for fishing, they are the modern replacement for the 'ol milk jug/oil jug method for catfishing...the bright colors can be seen way far away, and if built properly, they 'stand' up when you get a fish, that makes locating a bite easy. I have done this, and noticed that the line that you have wrapped around the noodle for storage leaves permanent indentations, it is a closed-cell foam..so i am surprised to read about the good long-term life these things have. Oh, there is another use--kayakers/canoers stuff them into nooks in the bow and stern of the boat, for increased flotation when the thing rolls over. Are we a creative group or what?!

I noodled with the Wifey today. The seats I mean. Ours noodle was 2.5 inch diameter. Mostly did front and 2 sides. Works great but ran out of noodles to do my seat. Rear looks fine. Pulled front seat out rear door with rear seat removed.

I needed to stuff my seat springs in winter. Pipe insulation works well too.

I did this to my front passenger seat. The noodle I had was 2-1/2 inch and was Octagonal not round. It was a good improvement. Took front seat our rear door. I hardly found any money however. PO was a cheapscape!

I got like only 30 cents, hardly paid for the noodle !, I'm pissed and joking.
