If I had to pull a trailer it'd be my instant excuse to go out and find a nice Dodge 3500 truck with a cummins in it

I have researched this topic before, and I find it very interesting that the towing ability of a Mercedes Benz is much lower in the USA than it is in Europe. I do not know if this is because of lawyers, or some other influence. I have noticed that the tongue weight in Europe is less than the tongue weight in USA. Maybe just shift the load a little, move the axle forward, or whatever to make it work out.
