Great resource for locating salvage parts in your area
|
Thanks, I forgot the website. I was trying to remember it but couldn't on my own.
|
I had lost it for a while too.
There is another site that is very similar to this one but with different results. I hope someone here knows it. p.s. thanks for your help on the welding stuff |
Wow you can locate practically any part on that site! Good stuff!!!
|
Sorry =(
I can beat every price found by 50% - 85%. :eek:
That is a website I avoid. :) |
whunter,
How do you make parts available? do you have a website? what is your business? Mike |

The prices listed on the website are terrible. A small amount of research will locate cheaper parts. My local salvage yards beat most listed prices that I checked by 50%. Try this, 1974 AMC Gremlin 232, head. Local: 232 rebuilt head is $120.00 A used head is $40.00 I am cutting back this year from eighteen too only seven car clubs, I don't have time to play the parts game, except where it applies to vehicles I work on. |
gotcha. I read your post and it sounded like you sell used parts. I know what you mean about the prices on that website. My local parts house sells NEW parts at wholesale prices that beat the used prices there.
Thanks for info. I appreciate all the tech advice I read on your posts. Mike |
