Non-Diesel Flex Disc
Sorry, for posting on the "wrong" forum, but I seem to get better help here. And with that said, thanx for all past and future help. I have a 1982 280TE, gray market wagon. It is a 123 chassis, to be exact a W123.093 chassis. I have had good luck so far using W123 parts, replaced both upper control arms, both tie rods, and both lower ball joints. Now I need to replace the forward flex disc. My question being, should I use a non-turbo W123 disc, or a turbo W123 disc?
Thanx for your answers, and again I apologize for the non-diesel question. |
Go to the Fastlane page, find the phone number, and call. Phil can look up and order the correct part for your car.

Rick nailed it you really want to make sure you get the correct part, and Phil will be able to.

Be sure to check the alldata.com site to see if you find any updates on the flex discs for your car.... Some of the 123's did have changes made with regards to their " soft" /radial /etc.. etc... and some were changed due to vibrations they found...

Thanx Guys
I compared the disc to the one on Hilda, they appear the same. But, my big worry was some PO had installed the incorrect part. Did not want to repeat someone elses mistake.
Again, Thanx............... :D |
