You have found and fixed your problem...
But I am going to throw in something due to the title of the thread.... in case someone needs it for their sudden loss of oil pressure... In the Manual MB says for some engines to check to see if the oil pressure valve on the back of the oil pump has fallen off. There are about three designs of this valve.... and they specify if you have ' oil noises' around starting the engine to change to a later design ( and pressure relief number ). And of course if it did fall into the pan you would want to reattach it... and maybe use Locktite this time... |
