Can anybody identify these wires?

On my 84 300sd, right next to the monovalve, next to the battery, between the firewalls, I found 4 wires taped together and not connected to anything. There are two gray wires, one brown and one yellow with a green stripe. There's a yellow tag attached to the wires that has a word that I can't read since it's written in German. I can't see a couple of the letters but here's what I can see. It says "Moto_ _aubenkontakt". The blank spaces are two letters that are rubbed off so I can't tell what they are. I don't see anywhere to connect these since the wires are short and only extend maybe 6 inches from the monovalve. The connection for the valve is already in place. Everything in the car seems to work except for the rear defroster which I think may be the relay, but I haven't tested it yet. Any ideas where these wires go or are they just there for some option that maybe I don't have?? Or can anybody tell me what that word says??

For translations...

go to www.altavista.com and choose "translate"

"aubenkontakt" is something like 'outer contact'

Thanks for the suggestions, but no luck. I also tried Dictionary.com. Real easy to use and free as well but still no results. They all just show the same thing that I typed in. These wires are going to bug the heck out of me til I find out where they go. I guess I'm just that kind of guy. Thanks for trying. If I ever figure it out I'll let you guys know what they are. Maybe I'll check and see if there's any power there Gotta go, thanks again.
