NFW you are going up a 7% grade at 95 mph unless you've magically got 300 hp under the hood.

The 603 can hold about 73 mph on a 6% grade at maximum continuous power with just myself in it.

I was ....and my saturn wouldn't do that mountain in forth gear at that speed....My honda has done it in overdrive......

Now it wasn't a twisty windy road...it was fairly stright.....

It did surprise the hell out of me.....I never thought it had it in it.....

Its the mountain 25 miles east of Morgantown WV on 68.....right before the Bruceton mills exit. I would have bet money it would never do it before I actualy did it too.

my car for some reason has more get up and go at 70-90 than it has from 30-60 mph....

My W116 is wheezing at 90......my W123 is still picking up steam at 90....

Its definately leathargic below 40 mph on the other hand....hey I can't explain it either but I was passing everyone...and I mean everyone up that mountain......and 80mph is average as the posted limit in WVA is 70mph

If I wasn't there I would not have believed it either.....

Yea, mine has a lot more umph at higher speeds than it does at lower. Most of it is probably due to the turbo being ready to build more boost. I kind of doubt being able to climb a mountain like that without the pedal being floored though. Just to keep it going on flat land at that speed it'd be down most of the way.

pedal was not to the floor...only a bit more than 1/2 but less than 3/4.....Now I do have the max travel stop turned in about 1 turn and have the go pedal adjusted so it does get the IP to hit the stop.......and this car does start instantly and smoothly with a 30 second glow cycle in 20 degre weather...(143,000 miles) It is a dog around town....but boy does it run on the open highway....I wish it did half as well below 60 mph...
