That Sunoco and the one on 1792 just north of Lee Rd usually have the lowest price for diesel fuel.
I saw it for $2.11 on SR 46 just west of I-4.

It's amazing how the price can change from day to day at the same station. I pays to read the price signs as you drive around.

The cost of diesel always goes down in the summer until they start rebuilding heating oil supplies for winter! New England is probably the last to get this benefit because their fuel oil gets dumped in the diesel tank last. I hear a lot more buzz about vegetable oil here in Atlanta. First time I went into my local mercedes shop and mentioned veggie I got a strange look but I walked in this week and he made a comment about drivers here in Atlanta going veggie.

I also understand you can burn transformer oil in a diesel engine also. I guess I need to see if I can get my wife's step father to get me a barrel since he works for an rural EMC.

Be careful with used transformer oil. The stuff made before about 1970 contained PCB's. This stuff wiped an entire town off the map a few decades back. (Times Beach, MO)

Here in CT (Hartford area) diesel is now averaging $2.50. One local station wants $2.58. It seems to change every day. I was just talking to a pizza resturant owner and he said he has a 50 gallon drum of WVO. If prices keep going up like this, I might become a veggie, well the car at least. With warmer weather here, hopefully the price will go down.

bio-D

Some dude who will be running for Texas governor next year has stated that he wants to make Texas a biodeisel state.

That would be a great start to get the industry seriously going.
However, this is all campaign talk.

Gas Prices in Northern Virginia...2.35 for Regular; 2.50 for Premium
Diesel Prices...2.21! (for 40 Cetane); 2.39 (for Amoco's 47 Cetane)

It's nice to see that Diesel, even though its prices are rising too, are at least rising at a lesser rate. Hopefully, the price increase should plateau sometime this year, and we'll stop getting 50 cent increases every year.

I haven't seen the price of diesel drop below premium in North Central Florida for at least 6 months. It's ridiculous. I mean, I thought diesel was less refined than premium gasoline, but these prices would indicate otherwise.

And it can't be a need for diesel for heating oil regionally because honestly, who needs heating oil in Florida?

According to the news Nevada has the third highest gas prices in the country. The price of regular gas has just surpassed the price of diesel (gas was cheaper than diesel for the last 6 months or so). Diesel is now about 2.53 while regular is 2.6x.
