Environment thought....
If I run a gallon or two of cintranella oil through my fuel system I could fog for mesquitos and lube the top end at the same time! Suppose that every old MB diesel did the same thing, we could get rid of a bunch of those bugs!! I started laughing today thinking about this, but I doubt it would work.

Citronella Oil is really thick and greasy, it'd probably plug up the secondary (or even the primary) filter in no time....and probably isn't very good for the engine. If you mean the stuff like the torches or candles use, it'd probably not work too well. As for mosquitos, its more of a repellent than a "killer" of them....they just don't like the scent it leaves....

Injecting it into the exhaust after the turbo would be better. Burning it inside the engine would likely ruin the scent that works.

Where I live this is not needed because there are plenty of Chrysler 3.0L V-6's fogging out bugs and people. One time my stomach about came out when I was behind one that was very, very bad. I would not be suprised if that one burnt a quart for ever five gallons of gas.
