It is soooo obvious the red car was trying to end it's misery...damn, that thing is ugly. Clearly an attempt for attention brought on by peer pressure.

Bad day for pontiacs. Hope your wife feels better. Chiropractic is good! Moral of the story is drive an insanely heavy car with a fuel efficient engine. I love my 85 300SD! I have two pontiacs and they never do well when they touch others! Look at them and they need over $2000 in body work plus they get awful gas mileage in traffic.

Good luck.

It takes days like these to remind us of what problems really are and that some of the things that we complain about we really should be thankful for.

I hope your wife is ok!

It doesn't look too bad, $6,500 probably came close to totaling it. Are they fighting you? I have never known an insurance company to pay the high estimate right away. Usually you have to go through the dance and get them up from a stupidly low number.

Hit by another driver, my wife was not at fault, her glasses smashed, bruised, neck pain and knee pain.
The knee is bothering her, it may have impacted the bolster.
They argued about her glasses, now they say replace them ASAP.
The car was a 9.5 near perfect before the impact.

A friend of mine was wondering what the two cars were involved...yours and the other...he is a GM buff....

I am glad your wife is not suffering anything too serious...get those knees checked out becuase as I am sure many people on here know, they are sensitive and you can end up paying for damage later in life...

In VA they have to pay a honest estimate from a licensed body shop of your choice.....

Think its the same in MD....but you may need more than one estimate from a place you determine........In MD I have told them pay me now.....or pay me later with my lawyers fees added to the bill.
