electrical mystery!
Help!!
Need to know what the safety belt handover arm is and also the warning monitor term.5. Having a electrical draw problem with my 300SD and have narrowed it down to Fuse #15 but am unfamiliar with these two. Can anybody out there enlighten me??? Battery goes dead every couple of days. No lights, etc remaining on. Have checked everything I can think of. Slowly going down the tubes here!!!! |

The only thing I can think of regarding the "Safety Belt Handover Arm" is the device on later model SL's that extended the safety belt so you could reach it more easily. Certainly doesn't apply to your SD. Your Belt receiver that is mounted to the seat frame has a contact to show that the belt is fastened, but it is just a switch and shouldn't draw any power unless it was shorted out. No idea what Term 5 is.
You could measure power draw across the terminals of each fuse in turn to try and pinpoint which circuit is at fault. Sorry I don't have any other ideas.
