Smile Where are you

I know this has been stated before but it would really help if people would put their location and car discription on their postings. I would be willing to go show some one some work done or to be done on my car if it helped and they were in the area. I see MB diesels around my area all the time and some of those people must be members of this forum. Maybe I missed it but what happened to the member badge idea?
Sorry
Just mouthing off

Phil,

I also stay totally perplexed regarding peoples hesitance to give location information. I can easily understand folks wanting to be careful with specific personal information, but I've never understood why folks don't want to share with you where they are located even if it is vague such as Northern California or NorthEast Texas. It seems to me that it would be pretty difficult to track someone down based on such general info.

The other info that people often withhold is the model and year of their car. It is so common that they will ask specific questions and not even let you know what year and model the question refers to.

Have a great day,

Just curious, what does the ASE in your signature stand for? It looks familiar. I drove through Texas last year but don't remember Sumner, what area is that in?
Happy Motoring

Correct me if I am wrong, but ASE stands for Automotive Service Excellent. I believe it means that he has a above average knowledge on how to fix most all automotive issues that arise. You can find more info on ASE certs here:

Who wants to know?

What if you live in three states?

Or how about, Western Hemisphere, is that too vague?
