I moderate a couple of unrelated forums with quite a bit of traffic and I have never seen one like this one that doesn't have its share of A-holes. You guys are amazing.

In addition the moderators don't have time to put up with a lot of BS so it usually gets removed pretty quickly.

The popularity of this forum is a resultant byproduct of the Mercedes Diesels of the 80's. These cars were the last truly mechanical cars produced. I don't ever want to turn loose of mine, because I know that the replacement will have electronics where my car uses good sound mechanical engineering. As a mechanical engineer myself, I marvel at its design and sigh that there probably will be nothing ever produced like it again. This Forum can help anyone troubleshoot and repair anything that goes wrong with one.

Cool

I don't own a diesel either so I think it is sometype of disease that I've suffered from for over 10 years.

For example, want to know how many w126 SD's produced in 1982 ? ... ... 18,100
What change occured after chassis 50,790 ? change in the brake master cylinder, etc

Also, some people spend there extra time watching TV, on the golf course, playing games, etc, while some of us spend our time here. We can talk MB's or diesel or cars in general like some people can talk who played in the World Series in 1967 -- (btw, wasn't that the Cardinals beating the Red Sox back when Bob Gibson, Lou Brock, etc.. !)
