Subscription card for commercial fueling?

Hello,

I found a big commercial fueling station in San Jose (Alum Rock Ave.) without a cashier. I wonder whether it's possible for a regular diesel car driver to get such a commercial fueling subscription. Thanks.

Best regards,

Eric

For all the trucks in the company fleet, we have "Wright" Fleet fuel cards. The operator swipes the card, keys in an ID no. and the odo reading. It is accepted ALMOST everywhere.
I would google "wright fleet fuel" and see what comes up. There is an 800 # on the card, but its in the truck. I'll see if I can remember to post it later

I use Pacific Pride fleet fueling service which is right off the I75 at the Thompson Rd exit in Perry, Ga. The reason I went with them is because of the B20 pump. That is all I am running anymore.

I use a Commercial Fueling Network (CFN) card, which allows me to purchase both B20 and B100 at a pump in Olympia.

I don't see any reason why they would refuse your business. You would need to setup an account with them in advance using credit references, etc.

However, there is some risk that they won't want to be bothered for the small volume generated by a single passenger vehicle.

I pass by one of those twice each day. Looks to be an automated card-reader operation. Seems to me I checked it out briefly and they were interested in corporate accounts rather than individuals. So you might have to come up with business letterhead.

But the real question is - what's the price break?

I'm also interested in what the price break for big rigs is.

I doubt the price break is very much. I would think they would want a pretty high minimum purchase.

I had one when we lived in Oregon - there actually was a decent price break as normally in OR you are not allowed to pump fuel, the attendant wages are tacked onto fuel. I had to watch a 15 minute video to be "certified" to pump fuel , but was very convienient 24/7 unlike roll up the sidewalk, OR that I lived in.
