Well the B2 has been leaking for a few days, (5 inch diameter puddle every night) so I went out to fix it. Well I put in a new seal for the cover, bolted it all back up and fired the car up. Idled for 5 minutes with a few small revs and not a drop leaked. Put it in reverse back out of driveway, stop, put it in drive and go (seal fails at this point but I didn't know yet). Drive around the neighborhood block and as I'm turning around a court, I see a nice thick trail leading right to the bottem of my driveway.

I basically emptyed all 2 gallons of ATF in a 4 inch wide stream all the way down the street and back. Not a drip drip drip, but a stream

Total count of seals:
5 seals over a month attempting to seal new vacuum modulator
1 seal on aux. pump housing
2+ on B2 cover
countless cuts and abrasions on hands doing all this for a transmission that still slips a tad when shifting (internally worn transmission)

I love my car, but I HATE THIS D@#% TRANSMISSION!!!!!!

That would be enough for me to do a manual conversion......................

Found my streaming leak

Jacked the car back up today to find my streaming leak. Found a broken case. Pictures will explain.

That's a nightmare.

Any idea how this happened?

No idea why it cracked, but now to add to the list is stripped out motor mount hole. I'm done with the car for now. Anyone making any offers on the car, I'm half serious.

I'll bet the earlier leaks were from a cracked housing. Then it finally broke. Sorry Adam.

I made my mess in one place last weekend by not putting back the drain plug before adding oil. Now it looks like there's a Harley Davidson owner at your house too

All I have left is the 2 started bolts to remove. Everything else is lose or disconnected. whunter came by with large tools to crack them lose. After heating with a propane torch and roughly 300lbs/ft of pressure refused to break them lose, (or even break the bolts) we gave up for the day. At one part I pushed as hard as I could with both legs on the ratchet while gripping the wheel. Can't believe I didn't break the wheel hub right off!!!
