King of Prussia to Philly is like Troy or Livonia is to Detroit. You say you are in Detroit but you are staying in the outskirts.

King of Prussia has the SECOND largest mall in America. Lucky you.

I have a couple of friends that live there. (In KoP, not the mall)

It is also not too far from our electronics plant in Kulpsville.

I can give you places to eat, but they will be closer to Kulpsville, Lansdale, Norristown, Blue Bell, and Montgomery.

You are not far from Valley Forge, which I never got to visit. Maybe next time, which may not be very long. I have to go to the plant and train some people sometime this year.

Thumbs up Atlanta speedway

One of our race drivers is running every Thursday night for the next ten weeks.
All staff are welcome.
No one has called me yet, to set up a GTG.

oh for crying out loud.
Lemme see what I can do... Since it's already wed... how about Sunday the 19th in the afternoon around 2? I'll find a place in-town so it will be reasonably central to people.

I'll post a GTG link in the Diesel, Tech, OT, and GTG sections if I get favorable replies here in the next two days. That should also give me time to find a suitable spot...

Info moved to GTG section. Sunday the 19th at 2pm at The Varsity, an atlanta landmark with parking for 600... I think we'll all fit!

Bad News Guys

I just got a call from Roy and he is on a flight back to MI. Seems things did not work out and he is going back home. Ya'll may still have a GTG but Roy will not be there.

I would be there if I were not pulling an engine/tranny on a 300SD this weekend.

To make this a little clearer.

I am back in Michigan.
Due to circumstances beyond my control, the contract ended.
This is a huge disappointment to me.
I was looking forward to meeting everyone in Atlanta.
