fuel lines & seals

Hi everyone. I am the guy that aksed about fuel leak down. Now I am in the process of replacing the O rings and some of the plastic fuel lines. They are hard to remove and easy to break. The local dealer shop forman told me that Mercedes will only sell the complete fuel line. But I only need the O rings. The after market parts places including this one do not offer the seals or even the complete lines. Does anyone know where to buy them?

I bought them all last week at my local M-B dealer. Don't forget the large (25ct) size o-ring that fits on the underside of the drop in pre-filter.It dosen't come in the pre-filter box.HARRY 98E300, 72000 mi.

Thanks Harry, I came to the same thing and orderd them today. They were not so very much after all. About $11 each. 5 fuel lines and that o ring you
talked about. I see that I will have to find a Snapon guy because the intake manafold has an inverted torque typy fastner on the turbo side. I used a 6 point socket from my US set for the filter housing but it was not the correct tool. I like to have the right one. By the way. This is the car I got from Herbert in Memphis and he suggested setting the timing because he did it to one of his and it helped. Well, I checked this one this weekend and the by eye look which my local dealer shop forman suggested looked close to perfect. Not bad for 165K. Thanks again Herbert for a great car.
I can feel what you guys are thinking. He wants the correct tool to remove a bolt but wont buy a timing tool for this 606 engine. Well, I will when I find the correct one. Some of these parts guys at the dealer do not know about tools so I need the part number. When I get time to go back to this shop forman I will do that.
