'84 300D - Window won't go up????
'84 300D - drivers side rear electric window will go down but will not go back up. Any thoughts of what could be the problem?

the switch itself could be defective - try pulling out the switch (but do not disconnect wires) from the panel and wiggle it with your fingers. then test if it works while it's not mounted. if it does, it's either a loose connection or the switch itself is on its way out.

I have found that these switches commonly fill up with foreign matter due to their location. You can carefully pry out the switch and take it to the bench, so if you drop something you won't lose it, and pry the switch apart with a very small screwdriver, clean it out and reassemble it. It will then work as good as new.
