You would not be in a head on unless you drove into him. The Minicooper is one increadibly nimble, and remarkably quick machine that would be very capable of getting out of the way of an idiot driver trying to head butt it.

LOL DOH!!!....Behind the white van accross the street is a HUGE Dodge truck with duallies and a ARB bumper with 12K pound winch. If you look closely it also has steer horns.

At first those pictures of the mini and ford crash tests really surprised me by showing the weakness of the pickup. But, then I realized you have to remember that pickup probably weighs at least 3 times as much as that Mini. That means 3 times the force at the same acceleration (or decceleration as the case may be). Illustrates that you are not always safer in a heavier vehicle.

Seems as if Ford got their act together in terms of construction in building the current generation F-150.
The new one fares much better than the old.
