The toy car doesn't even have a key to wind it up. Pick on something your own size.

You would not be in a head on unless you drove into him. The Minicooper is one increadibly nimble, and remarkably quick machine that would be very capable of getting out of the way of an idiot driver trying to head butt it.

LOL DOH!!!....Behind the white van accross the street is a HUGE Dodge truck with duallies and a ARB bumper with 12K pound winch. If you look closely it also has steer horns.

The truck at the very center of this pic would crush all comers in a head on.

Okay, so we've established that a Chevy truck will beat a Mini, but what about an F-150?

Full story here. Nice job, Ford, as always

At first those pictures of the mini and ford crash tests really surprised me by showing the weakness of the pickup. But, then I realized you have to remember that pickup probably weighs at least 3 times as much as that Mini. That means 3 times the force at the same acceleration (or decceleration as the case may be). Illustrates that you are not always safer in a heavier vehicle.

Seems as if Ford got their act together in terms of construction in building the current generation F-150.

The new one fares much better than the old.

Old - http://www.iihs.org/vehicle_ratings/ce/html/0110.htm

New - http://www.iihs.org/vehicle_ratings/ce/html/0328.htm

Here's the Nissan Titan for comparison which weighs more than the previous generation F-150.

Dodge - http://www.iihs.org/vehicle_ratings/ce/html/0128.htm

Chevy - (didn't hold up so well but seemed to protect the passengers) http://www.iihs.org/vehicle_ratings/ce/html/0107.htm

Yup, I'd put all my money on the Peterbilt and give odds too.
