Will their system show the clips? The dude might look at me clueless

Are there any real difference between the 123/126/201/124 triangles besides the part number?

It doesn't really matter if their system shows the clips, because as long as you have the part number, they can order it. There are at least a dozen different part numbers for the triangle, and what Carson gave you was one of the many. Basically, a non-folding one with a red border, white background, and black dash mark with foldout legs will fit the 123/126/201/124.

Another question. How long will it take to get the parts? Are they even in the warehouse or are they getting it from oversea?

yikes!

i've been in the trunk several times lately and couldn't remember seeing my triangle. not surprising since there is A LOT of stuff in there but this thread made me go and check. thankfully, it was there but it might go on ebay if that one goes any higher!

Can somebody tell me if the part number given for the clips for a 126 (126-890-00-14) is for a set or one? If just one, how many are required? I assume 3 but maybe someone can confirm. Dealer quoted me $9.90.

Also is there any other number for the Warning Triangle (000-590-51-12)? My Parts guy said it wasn't a good number - is that just because MB North America doesn't have it in their system?

Thanks

I think you only need one bracket for the top, since the bottom 2, you just put the triagle's leg in it. Did your dealer tell you when they will have it, or is it in stock?

Thanks for the info, but none of those numbers worked either with my parts guru. Maybe the listings are different here in Canada for some reason.

I did find out that the first number (000-590-51-12) upgrades to an 'Accessory' number #Q6590002, but this is listed as no longer available.
Frustrating!!

Triangle

I have one that I would be wiliing to sell for the right price if anyone is interested.

Make me an offer. I also have the clip if I can get it off the trunk without breaking it but no guarantees there.

It is from the gold on on the left and is a 1981 300SD.

Thank you
Ken
