I can't figure out what the color of my 1981 240D interior should be called. I'm trying to order floor mats, etc. It is a dark red or a red / brown mixture. Would that be "dark brown", "burgundy" or bamboo ? When I put the code into the Russian VIN site it called the interior "leather anthracite" but I don't think that is correct !

I think what you have is called mahogony.........dark brown is called Tobacco and its about the color of a cheap milk chocolate candy bar.

They had a color called sienna during that year which is a redish brown.

Well I think I have sienna. What was the original / "correct" color floor mats that came with that color ? Today sienna is not available. Maybe brown or black ?
