Are there any checks I should perform on a turbo with a mity-vac?
I ask because my car doesn't seem to have the power I've heard other SDL's do. I've adjusted the ALDA but that only helps off the line, which it did. Now my car has more power off the line it seems than when under way. I read something about a 603 with a waste-gate partially plugged so it wasn't closing properly. How could I check that and what does the waste-gate look like?
Thanks David

David,
Have you connected a boost gauge and observed it while driving the vehicle? If so, what does it read at maximum power above 3000 rpm's? |

I can't locate a boost gauge. I found one at Autozone but they wanted $60 for it. I'll try to talk to my mom's cousin and see if we can't make one.
Thanks David
