Another acceptable solution that will save time and effort is just re-bush with some vinyl tubing or what have you. Fits over the ends of the rods and clips in. (PEH are you listeneing?)
No part number needed. No dealer rip-off. That's what I did. I think it was 3/8" or 1/2" vinyl hose I had lying around. Cost about .0005 cents. Has worked fine for 2 years and if and when it ever wears out I have plenty more of it. I also took apart and re-bushed the shifter assembly with some 3/4" PVC pipe (I think that was the size). That REALLY helped a lot as the ends of the assembly wear out the old bushing. I have lots of that stuff too, for the next time. Rick
