I would like to know what I should expect the top speed of my 83 300D Turbo should. Not that I run that fast a lot, It's that I was on the interstate this morning and decided to see what she would do. I was a little disappointed that I only got to between 95 to 98 MPH. Is that about all I should expect or what. Just curious.

OK so I'm real close, if I had given it a little more highway I may have reached that speed.

Shoe,

Once you get you front suspension finished, take it out on the Pontchartrain bridge, you should have plenty of room to get up to speed . One more for Lagniappe .

Mike

Being an officer of the law I would suspect you would know what the additional fines would be for getting stopped buy one of your brethren on an elevated section of highway going those speeds. Those fellows on the causeway are real happy to catch people doing those kinds of thing's. I'll stick to my little stretch of I12. But I am looking forward to testing the high speed stability at least once after rebuilding the front end.
