Factory Workshop Manuals
Today I purchased a 1979 Mercedes 300SD for my wife to use as a daily driver. The first thing that I want to do is find a source for the factory workshop manual for her car. I did a search, and it looks like they are available form the dealer, but is their any other place to find them? Also, is their a legitimate (sanctioned my Mercedes) version available on CD?
Thank You. PS- Your forum looks great, I see some very knowledgeable people post here. |

Ebay is the best source for them I have found. CD's and manuals. I would recommend the hardcopy manuals over the CD's, but both are good to have. There is also an online copy of manual. Do search for "Skinnerbox.steaky.org" I believe. Congrats on the SD. Great cars. How did you get the wife to agree to that? Welcome, it's good to have you. Use the search function, limit it to diesel forum to narrow info, and prepare to read for days. Great stuff. GREAT!
