Today I purchased a 1979 Mercedes 300SD for my wife to use as a daily driver. The first thing that I want to do is find a source for the factory workshop manual for her car. I did a search, and it looks like they are available form the dealer, but is their any other place to find them? Also, is their a legitimate (sanctioned my Mercedes) version available on CD?

Ebay is the best source for them I have found. CD's and manuals. I would recommend the hardcopy manuals over the CD's, but both are good to have. There is also an online copy of manual. Do search for "Skinnerbox.steaky.org" I believe.
Congrats on the SD. Great cars. How did you get the wife to agree to that?
