Did 190Ds have engine covers on the bottom ?

Mine is missing one and I am wondering if they even had them ? I have a 1985 2.2 diesel.

If they did make them where would I be able to buy one ?

Thanks

Yes, they did have them. On my brother's though I threw it out as it was shabby and made oil changes a PIA. Looking back I should have kept it as I believe they cost between $300-$400 at the dealer.

Thanks
David

Neither of mine has had a cover.

Kamil:
Neither of my 190Ds has had the cover. ('86 and '87). That doesn't mean that they weren't originally equipped, only that they didn't have them when I got the cars.
It's my guess that a 190E cover would fit, but I have no proof. If you could find one in a junkyard, it would be worth a try. If you have to spend hundreds at a dealer, I don't think it would be worth the cost.

I bet the cover would fit from a gas model. They attach to point on the body so engine would be irrelevant.

Thanks
David
