Thanx for the tip zachv. I'm currently in the market for a TD (so is Patsy). I took a look at this auction at 17:55 est .... it's now at $3050.00. I was thinking about bidding on it, but I think the bidding might exceed my budget. This morning I ventured over to the MBZ.ORG site for the first time. While browsing I ran across a thread from a dissatisfied TD owner. According to the thread, the owners brother was going to sell the car in Texas. The owner also rebuilt the engine, the tranny, & replaced the climate control .... the eBAY auction states these items were also rebuilt/replaced. If anybody interested, take a look at the thread & it's follow-up responses, then the eBAY auction & see if you also believe they are referring to the same TD. Seems like it would be a good buy with the items recently replaced.

I don't know if you read the best year TD thread, but there I mentioned that I saw an '85 300TD for sale locally for $3750.00. The rear does not sag. And it looks pretty decent too. Might be cheaper than the ebay TD, although it does have a few more miles...around 219k I think.
