What the hell are all the heater levers on the W115?

Ok...I am dumb..but I don't have the owners manual so Ill ask..

What do alll the levers for the heat controls on the W115 300D do?

The red colored left and right ones?
The blue colored left and right ones?

What does sliding these in the various directions do?

levers

the red ones are for heat. the skinny triangle above or below it gets bigger in the direction of more heat. the other levers are for air flow up and air flow down. the knob will have a built in arrow that you can feel pointing up or down. the skinny triangle gets bigger inthe more flow direction. the roound thingie in the middle is the fan swithc. clockwise will make it go faster. the green knob is for the ac if you have it. clockwise means more cold.

good luck with your 115.

Red (upper) levers are heat -- center position is off, outer position is full heat.

Lower levers are floor/windshield -- I don't remember which way is which.

The AC control knob rotates -- all the way CCW shuts the AC off and switches the damper to heat. Any other position switches the damper to full recirc and AC, with the temp determined by how far you turn the knob.

If you have poor heating and the windows fog badly, make sure the AC knob is actually switching over, it's stiff and the knob comes loose with time. The servo can also crap out, leaving the damper partly closed. The operating link is right above and to the right of the accelerator, just push it up to switch back to outside air and heat.
