LOTS of people don't use paypal due to many reports of problems...
If you want to sell it for the most money you should change the listing so that you allow U.S. Postal Money orders to be used...

But if you accept the U.S. Postal Money Order, take it to the post office to negotiate. There have been recent forged U.S. Postal Money Orders showing up. Your bank or credit union might accept the Order for deposit but you will have little recourse if the Order turns out to be bad.

I'm probably going to unloading a lot of MB parts and injector parts myself. Am seriously looking at moving and need to lighten the load. Would like to pick up some of your tools though!

Curious why someone would choose to use Ebay when they know that there are quite a few people right here that would give them fair prices for the lot.....

I'm sorry, I could use a lot of the stuff, but I'm not going to even attempt to bid, just to be beat out by someones programmed bid.

What a shame, but I guess ya gotta do what you feel is the best for you.

I guess I must be a stick in the mud.... It never occured to me to attempt to cash it anywhere except at the Post Office... LOL
One nice thing about the Ebay system... one should be able to make sure they get the legit payment before shipping... I have read about problems with other types of Bank paper...

Same here, I hate paypal. once you enter in your bank info and private information. they can do whatever they please with it. there is no way to delete it from their record. since they're not a bank. it's not under any regulation from the government. paypal is one giant scammer.

I deleted one from my account just yesterday.

You have to go to Paypal.com and login, enter your personal options and find the credit card info, then select and delete it. Was pretty easy once I actually went to their site.

I keep an account I use for nothing else but that.....they can't take much money from an account with nearly a zero balance.

I agree PayPal has its problems, but I sell all kinds of crap on eBay and I'd guess 95% is paid via PayPal. They take a good chunk of change for the convenience, but I don't really mind. I just keep my balance low so if my account *is* compromised they're not going to get much.

I think the point is this that some potential buyers might not be comfortable using PayPal, and would therefore be hesitant to bid in an auction that specifies PayPal as the only accepted payment method.

It's your auction, of course, and your business how you choose to handle it. My friendly advice, though, would match that of Leathermang and RockinWagin: consider USPS money order as an alternative payment method, and cash it at the post office before shipping.
