300SD R12 capacity?
Tried searching and came up with a bunch of conversion threads nothing really of use and my underhood sticker is there but so worn down so I can't make much of it.
Anyone know the Oil Capacity (in ounces) and Freon Capacity of the R12 for an '85 300SD?

I'm sure someone with more know than I will come along to answer.
But the sticker on my 85 300D 5cyl radiator support reads 2.9lbs of R12. |

That sounds right.. but Larry has posted the recommended high and low side pressures.... if you follow the rules and stop when you get to those you should be in great shape...
The system can operate with Many less than the max oz of R12... but even ONE over really degrades the system's performance... |

170 cc. ( 6 oz.) refrigerant mineral oil.
2.9 lbs. R-12 refrigerant
