Brake Dust
Does anyone know why there would be more brake dust on one side of my 300D than the other?

Did you have the rotors resurfaced/replaced at your last pad change? If not, you may have grooves (maybe one side more than the other), causing more abrasion.

Sticking caliper; does it pull under braking?
A bad soft brake line could also do this.

I vote for a sticking caliper, or else different pads maybe?

That is a sign of bad calipers. Don't feel bad. If they've never been done before they're due anyways. Be happy! That means you have more braking power in the forseeable future! Don't forget to replace the rubber hoses at the same time as well as use DOT-4 fluid. All MB's use DOT-4.
Thanks David
