77 300D A.C. low air flow
If someone could give me some hints as to things to check. The AC blower seems to be working, with the ACC button in the low auto mode there is a small amount of air flow, and with the Hi auto button pushed the air flow increases a little, but this is a very low air flow and takes quite a drive to cool the car here in Phoenix Az. Any suggestions would be a big help as it is starting to get warm here.
The other ACC buttons work fine, the Bi-level, the defrost, and so on, just not much air flow. I do not have any bad sounds, like the blower motor. Any help??? Last edited by going_postal; 06-21-2005 at 06:33 PM. Reason: Add more info |

No ideas? I dont seem to have air flow from the defroster unless I select that mode, and with the defrost on the air flow seems to pick up, maybe just the sound because off the ducts?

Is the blower for the AC a two speed unit, or is there supposed to be more? Mine just seems to have the two speeds, auto-lo, and auto-hi, just not what I would call a lot of air flow. with the auto button pushed, boyh the center and side vents work. Bi-level works ok too, center and lower outlets.
