Well, to make a long story short, my friend listed his 84 300D in the paper, and among the things he listed was "working A/C," and him counting on me to have it fixed by tomorrow morning when the people are coming to see it.

Thangs were going well, had just started to put in the first can when no a/c clutch all of a sudden. It was toast, didn't blow the fuse but got hot enough to start to melt the plastic around the fuse holder in the box.

Lucky for him I had an extra compressor and a few hours later he's got nice cold blowing a/c again for the people to enjoy on their test drives tomorrow.

My friends all went out to the bars tonight while I stayed home and got dirty.....................sigh
