That's the irony....the diesel is more expensive than premium gas wherever you go except for a few truck stops along Highway 5 but who knows what's in that stuff.

Diesel doesn't usually fluctuate as much at those sort of places. Do you guys know how many truckers pack guns?

They'd all do one of those convoys to DC and intentionally plug up the freeway system. I heard it's been done before. I think it may be time soon for the state governments to step in and lower gas taxes. Last summer the governor here in IN did it and that made things better. He actually completely removed it.

Thanks
David

Fuel prices shouldn't really affect truckers, they just pass the cost increase up to everyone else. Everything is moved by truck and as fuel costs go up the price of everything will as well.

$2.58 in my neck of the woods. $3 a gallon fuel is going to hurt come fall when I am commuting to school. At the rate diesel prices are climbing diesel cars like mine are becoming a luxury item.

My old 240 MBs currently are parked and without plates; I justify my little VW DIesel(99 NB) because it gets really great mileage but the advantage is going down every day though our prices here aren't as high as yours ...yet...

BFD. I've been running WVO for a long time. Only have to bend over and take in the a** on long road trips.

I have been paying 2.14-2.19, usually 2.19 here in Dallas. Did find it for 2.08 up in N. Dallas a couple weeks ago... Have to take trip next month up north and have found that it looks like north up I-35 it is even down below the $2.00 mark.....according to one of those gas price websites anyway....
