Only $50? Would have been more fun to take over to a Demo Derby.

Six others from BMW, GM, and Ford.

A couple of the reps for various venders that come into the store I work at rack up a lot of miles fast. Most average about 50k a year but one I know does about 70k.

They don't keep cars long though, most get a new one every 4-5 years.

You could get 500k out of a Kia if you drove 50k-70k a year and took care of it.

We have two members at TheRangerStation with north of 300k on 2.9 V6's in Ranger's and B2's. One of them was approachign 600k the last I heard, with no rebuild. Of course, he's been through several transmissions...

One of my best friends had a '93 or so Buick Skylark. Back in the high school days he had it all hooked up. Upgrade suspension, 17" rims.. custom stereo, etc... everything done by himself. Only thing I helped was to pain the bottom portion of the car, to give it that GS look. The car easily has at least 250,000 on it. Taken to FL numerous times. He sold it to his upstairs neighbor, car still runs. Never had the valve-cover off. Only the water pump, radiator, belt, alternator and tranny were repaired/replaced. GM knew how to make a good little V6. That's about it...
