On ebay now-4558803818

If anyone has a shabbier one for a partial trade please let me know. I love the car but need one I can feel ok about the salt getting it. This one is so nice it would be a shame to let that happen. Thanks, bryan

How about putting the above post on the original thread.

Then delete this thread.

Continuity is far better that way.

Good point. Don't know how to do it i guess.

By the way, this website is very good. I am quite an enthusiast of a lot of different kinds of vehicles and there are some very good techs on this board. I spend a lot of time reading about things and it is easy to see why people come here to learn. I can only hope that the reason you guys are so filled with information is because you read it somewhere rather than actually having all of the mentioned issues with your particular vehicle. It seems the cars are very reliable from a leave you stranded standpoint but the subsystems appear weaker to me than your average 20 year old car. Just my opinion based on reading. This one is fine but it appears a lot of others are not. I suspect an OM617 may find it's way into a unimog project for me...

It's not a big deal.

If you wish, go over to the other thread and put post #1 over there.

Then come back to this thread and press the "edit button" in the lower right hand corner of the post. A page will come up and allow you to delete the thread.

Oh man... that's a clean car and you took it well in the rear for your purchase. I hope you get most of what you put into it when you sell it. Good luck.

Think the price was unreasonable?

Seems like they vary widely. Anyone care to comment? I hope to get my money back but if I don't I will keep it i guess.

The price you paid seems reasonable considering the condition and mileage on the car. However I've seen several similar examples sell for between $2000 - $3000 on this forum and on eBay. I guess in your particular auction there were enough buyers interested in the car to push up the final price.
