2 much work needed? (ebay)

i have always dreamed about doing this conversion.. but this looks a little to far gone do you think?

You mean converting it from being in the United Kingdom to being in the United States ? That would be expensive for a non running car... LOL

hmm, maybe if you attatched a few plastic bottles around it, it might float over? lol

I would take the powertrain and all the parts associated with the conversion to put in a SL not a SLC. I would buy it if there was a halfway cheap method to get it back here.

The most valuable information probably would be a schematic of the engine bay and the motor mounts for replication on a car over here. Does the SLC and the SL have the exact same engine bay layout?

I wonder how much clearance the 617 would have under that hood?
